Recruitment solutions for local employer

Speaker: Garry Matthews, Peterborough Evening Telegraph
9.30am
Not too many years ago, the main route to finding quality
candidates would be too simply put an ad in the local
newspaper.
Newspapers remain a strong source to find local
candidates but the emergence of other media choices such as
job boards has meant that newspapers are now a part of a
growing mix that can be used in conjunction which each other
or as standalone resources. In addition, various devices
such as iPads and Mobile phones have made targeting great
candidates more challenging as opposed to simpler.
The seminar will discuss the various approaches that
companies need to consider when filling their next vacancy.

We exhibit year on year because this event always
generates a good level of business for me and gives me a
chance to get my name in front of people I might not
otherwise meet. In particular over the last few years, since
the exhibition has become more established, it has been a
useful opportunity to bump into existing customers as they
are walking around and have a chat in a more relaxed
environment. I really enjoy that.
