Dobbies Garden Centres has recently opened their Garden World in Peterborough. At the heart of their business, as they developed this store along with their other 31 stores is sustainability. Sustainability defines how they deliver their responsibilities whether it’s how they design their stores, reduce their environmental impacts or educate the customer.

At Dobbies Garden World Peterborough they have opened the company’s first eco-living centre – this is a dedicated area of the store where customers can learn how to reduce their carbon footprint through simple changes to their own home, garden or lifestyle.

Richard Jardine, Dobbies Sustainability Manager, will present how the business has integrated sustainability into the business to achieve their corporate social responsibility, assist in environmental cost savings, build environmentally friendly stores, engage with the customer to deliver overall business benefits.
